these breakins can't all be kids, a lot have got to be pre meditated and in a lot of cases know exactly which birds to go for! We all invite fanciers to our lofts, tell them all about our birds, whats what etc, makes you wonder if doing this is the right thing!

Most of the spring fairs have a few stalls selling youngsters and are ideal to pick up bits and pieces to see you through the season.

if you put youngbirds into a section where oldbirds are sitting on the floor the oldbirds will scalp the youngsters!

you are better keeping 6 and racing them correctly than keeping 12 that you can't do anything with!

how are you going to race them if you havn't got room to pair them and or motivate them?

yes, take a selection from around the loft. If you get a test kit they will send you swabs etc as well but basic droppings testing will indicate the overall condition of the birds.

B & R are a waste of space and time, demand your money back and get yourself a good wet & dry vac it'll be just as good and you can get it cheaper!

no need to treat for anything then. It is worth having a routine for testing so when you've got your youngsters weaned and all together send droppings and swabs of for testing and then if required any correct treatment can be given. Never treat blind especialy as a newbie because you won't have the experience to spot a problem.
