    We used to have a club wingstamp a few years ago and rather than members having there own all the birds were stamped at the club with the same stamp. But the sec would still knows whoses birds they were if reported! Phil

  12. This is where fancy breeds are a minefield with the standards, the standard should be that of the registered country. If there is a german nun and a british nun they will have seperate standards. Phil

  16. I asked Sue a while ago if anybody had raced any of hers, which she didn't know. I had a pair, one didn't make it but the other is coming well from training and will get one race at the end of the season for experience. Time will tell. Phil

    why would they go elsewhere for there corn etc, he doesn't effect them, buys there strays and supplies corn, what more do they want Phil
  21. If the bird is roosting on your balcony at night could you possibly catch it? (When its dark you will be able to just pick it up) When you have it and we can have the full GB ring number then we can help you get the bird reunited. Once you have caught it please retain it in a box etc. Phil

    wouldn't it be a shame if a bird that had been reported to the police as haveing been stolen found its way into his stray basket!

  24. Always more good than bad, far more who make contributions and not just visit the site to place adds (you know who you are!). Every week there are new members, some fanciers, some non fanciers that have found a stray and want to see it returned, all good people wanting to be involved, contribute or seeking help and advice. Kepp it up all you good uns! Phil p.s not to mention the best guy, Richard for all his hard work on the site!
