  1. what tests did he carry out to diagnose e-coli?
  2. I agree to a point! Time and time again we here about advice suposidly given by avian vets but when asked they have never given advice on removal of grit and after care etc! When we go and see a doctor we get continued advice along with repeat visits which is what we would expect. So realy how good are these "Avian Experts"?
  3. race team out first thing then back in, youngbirds out in the evening then followed by youngsters before there main feed.
  4. lets guess, vets given you Baytril? What after care has he prescribed?
  5. £50 each
  6. they should feed them ok, but if you've got youngbirds 4 days different in age the smaller one won't get milk for as long as the older. If they are healthy then let them get on with it but if the younger babe starts to drop behind and look under nurished etc then bin it.
  7. she looks happy and as playfull as ever, keep up the cat training.
  8. nice birds, 2nd pic, pied on the right, a cracker!
  9. Mick its full again!!!!!!!!!!
  10. There are also many people though who don't fly birds out, fancy birds, show racers etc, so there is no basket selection there has to be human selection. I know there are often new starters who will take birds but if a bird isn't good enough for me its not good enough for a new starter and they would get the best i could give them to start them off on the right foot. Sorry drifting from topic.
  11. its sickening which ever way you look at it!
  12. if it was indiscriminate killing then why just the young and stock birds, surely they would have killed randamly or everything!
  13. i think it depends also on your location. Yes line of flight is important but also a few tosses off line to make the birds have to think doesn't hurt either. If we only ever trained on line, knowing most weeks our birds will be pulled 10miles off line either way then i'm sure we'd lose more than we do.

  18. prob with some demo programmes they have preset info that you can't change otherwise everybody would just download demo for free and not buy the full version.
  19. Mike , not sure when this happened but can you try to find out if he plans to continue and maybe somebody on here could coordinate getting some youngbirds together for him with maybe help from yourself in collecting/delivering? Phil
  20. does anybody know who the member is?
  21. I had one for a few years and wasn't convinced it worked, jack R was better but when I moved in with the ex she had 2 cats. Me being such a cat lover i plugged the ultrasonic in on the landing to stop the cats coming upstairs, one cat would dissapear until it was turned off and the other would curl up and go to sleep by it!
  22. the fixed ones work for some cats but not all, the hand helds are no good, by the time you point it at a cat the cats seen you and run any way!
  23. why does this keep happening!
  24. schalie/resesive opal
