  10. I agree, let them help and earn there time with the birds. If the birds are flying tell them "come and scrape out" by which time the birds will have had their fly and you can see them. It would be like serving an apprenticeship.

    bloody magpies

they are teritorial and as soon as you get rid of one pair more move in. This is why larson's work so well with an out of area decoy.

    bloody magpies

removing magpies is legal. Best way is to get a larson trap and you'll catch them in no time!

Another floor in your master plan is there are a lot of fanciers who keep birds for pleasure, don't race, are not members of clubs etc, who would check them and how would you suspend them? It is the non racing members that are prob keeping birds that may or may not belong to others! Also i have spoken to many bird rescue centres that have always got racing pigeons in aviary's belonging to members who can't be bothered to send for them, should these centres be closed down because the unions do very little to deal with the owners?

we do report them but under your scheme then nobody would even give a bird a few days of food and water before releasing a stray incase some official came knocking on there door!

And who is going to pay these officials time, fuel etc etc? Or would it just be another job for the overworked underpaid sec?
