thought you had pm bid for £30 on lot 2?
  4. here we go another update needed! :(
  5. You should have a case against the NFC then! It clearly went to the race and the time you have it recorded you prob would have picked up money etc. The markers clearly did not check all paperwork correctly before signing it!

    wing stamps

i've lost count of the times i've had a stray in, looked at the area code and sent the bird home in the right direction when fit! Much less hassle sometimes than having to listen to the excuses owners come up with if you ring them!

    wing stamps

first place to look for a fancier but general public wouldn't think to look!
  8. Since being on the forum i've had birds from Vallance, Blythy1, Kirky, Numpty, peckedhen, marksimpson, Steve Stocker and Dickydarky and have not been dissapointed with any of them. I also had cause to hold a clearance sale for a friend of mine and once again all transactions went smoothly. I think the majority of members on here are honest and reliable. As is with life though there will always be chancers and wasters, thats life.

would you rather a bird belonging to another club member got reported to the union as being race rubbered and not stamped? The union if doing its job and following the rules would suspend the club for allowing the bird to be raced, and that would include you! Which would you prefer?

    wing stamps

when i was sec, no stamp, take it home! When i'm marking other peoples birds i check every one and have told sec if i find a bird without a stamp, its then down to them to decide fate! I know mine are stamped, i would like them back if they make a mistake or get injured enroute, why don't members stamp there birds? Are they racing strays, etc etc?
  11. where abouts are you? There maybe a local member on here who can look after the birds pending there return. Well done for taking the trouble to report them.
  12. cheers
  13. did my rings get there Alan?
  14. you should have em by now Stuart and the winds in your favour!
  15. Mick, far from 1 swallow. 1st National in Holland last year, and i think a national winner in France as well as other members doing well with them here and Ireland.
  16. lol, would you want to meet him in a dark ally! Good luck all who are raceing with the NFC today, birds up at 6.30 and weather looks good!
  17. my parents were marking at Didcot on Thursday and were amazed at the amount of ETS rung birds that were being marked in the normal, rubbered manner! Does that indicate the faith members have in important races with ETS?
  18. they were most likely false then, but yes they do have Rollands in them!
  19. Whose Ronny pedigrees have you seen?

    BIT ANNOYED

As norm the RPRA prob won't do a thing! Look at region meeting minutes, each time there are members being suspended for non payment etc but i can't remember seeing anybody dealt with for not claiming a stray. Money hits there income, strays are an inconvenience!
  21. cast off's
  22. Spot on Bandit and we know yours are performing as well!
  23. I started the post as Ronny had asked me for a copy of the result and after previous threads thought it would give credit to his pigeons! I will point out i have no Ronny's here so have no interest in selling any! Please just keep your comments to yourself and give the birds and fancier credit when credits due! Phil
  24. you not sent to basingstoke?
  25. seems to average about £11 per 20kg bag for most mixes around here!
