if the cock is yellow it will breed a percentage of yellows with any colour but you will get a higher percentage if you can get a dilute hen or a hen with dilute gene.
the best way for switching eggs is to allow the hen to rear her 1st pair of eggs, when she lays again which should be when the yb's are around 14 days switch those eggs and then let her lay again and sit them herself again.
This way because they are busy feeding they won't miss the eggs but i would only do this with stock and not birds you are also racing.
there was a thread on here about google earth coordinates a while ago and nobodys showed there long lat to be correct. I suspect it is more to do with google earth than Union coordinates, you can always check your own on an ordinance survey map!
Google earth is based on a satilite which moves as does the earth, so there is bound to be variations.
Thank you all again.
Havn't added them all up yet but there are a lot of fantastic offers. As Mick said he is out of action for a while so when he is back on his feet we will collate the e-mails, pm's etc and will then plan the sales, dates, venues etc.
We have both been overwhelmed with the response but will always find room for more.

i've got 1 here, rang the bloke before the weekend, he was going to collect monday night and suprise suprise its still here and not even a phone call!
Dilema, bin it or waste my time chasing him, its not the birds faults though!
Rather than getting them hungry by keeping them in the basket, don't leave food on the floor, control there food and you can get them to do what you want them to!
Have they been in the basket before today?
Do you normally run around the garden whistleing and calling them?
They may have been spoofed enroute which is why some are missing and others are nervous.
