  1. These were sent out just before christmas, well to most, unfortunately for Duncan he has been missed out for some reason, a reason that needs to be resolved.
  2. There is a lack of communication across the board, and maybe in hindsight someone could have posted the agm, sorry. Having taken on the pro job i,m hoping this sort of thing is in the past, and that a lesson has been learned by the powers to be.
  3. You should have received a balance sheet and agenda through the post, being a fully paid member. If you never received this, there seems to be a break down in communication between yourselves, club and fed. Need to speak to your secretary and see what the problem is
  4. Cheers Robbie, there are a nucleus of members willing to do there bit and more, for the benefit of the fed. And as long as we have that in place the rest should take care of itself. Yip Steve onwards and upwards. Cheers showman, i believe there was a great deal of interest in the Fife show, and we hope that returns to benefit all. Cheers Andy, nice to see you again at Joes night out, although didnt manage to speak to you, maybe this year i will. Our fed is moving its presentation night one week forward so that no-one misses out if they want to go to Joes night (our fed and joes was on the same night), and its also on a Saturday instead of the Friday to allow the Saturday workers a chance to attend.
  5. Today at 1pm in Thornton saw our 2010 agm take place. There was a good atmosphere, where we all (or mostly), headed in the same direction. Our top table has had a wee facelift, with Mel Jarvis stepping down as vice chairman, and Convoyer John McCord (who was junior vice president) taking his place. Secretary/Treasurer Cath Jarvis stood down, to be replaced by Elaine McCord. In stepped Tam Maxwell to replace John McCord as junior vice president. Discussions were had about how to move the federation forward, and the feeling was a really good one. We are putting together a show committee which used to be very successful, and is hoped to be a big hit with fanciers from all over. I have offered my services as pro, and it is hoped to keep the fancy up to speed with our federation, with regular articles in the BHW and Racing Pigeon, and also on the mini site here on pigeon basics, and Elimar. The future certainly looks bright for us, bring it on.

    DELBOY

Our thoughts are with you Derek, Linda and family.
  11. GREAT BRITAIN, what a joke. This country is no longer great, but a laughing stock to people who orchestrate these such events. Lets see how long it takes Gordon Brown to produce a pair of balls, and come out and condemn it, and stop it, but we all know that will never happen. I agree this will NEVER take off, as there will be a mass riot throughout Britain and parts of the world, against such supporters. So come on Brown show some balls, and do something about it. :-/

  20. By the time i came up to Aberdeen and back, it would work oot about £40 a bag. In saying that the last time i ventured up your way my car broke down and cost £700 to get back on the road. So that would work oot at about £200 a bag, i,ll stick to duncans £4 per bag, just for now ;D ;D ;D ;D ps happy new year, alex
  21. No problems mucker, whatever you feel happy with is the most important thing. These were suggested to me by my late friend, and they work very well, so i,ll be using them again. Good luck for 2010, alex.

  23. Layers Pellets should be fed 3 weeks before your pigeons start to lay Layers pellets contain optimum levels of essential fatty and amino acids for good egg size, with Calcium & Phosphorus to help good shell strength, with added natural pigments Lutein & Zeaxathin from marigold and maize extracts and Citranaxanthin found naturally in fruits for a deep yolk colour. Lastly Dodson and Horrell layers pellets are 100% natural and don't contain any GM ingredients, so you can be assured that you are feeding your pigeons a high quality balanced feed. - Protein: 16% - Oil: 3.5% - Fibre: 3.5% - Ash: 12.5%
