Never heard of such a rule, so therefore our club hasn't carried out anything like the 3 way test. Nor has it been suggested by our Unikon rep.

Sorry to hear this mucker. We all make mistakes, some more costly than others. But as long as we learn from those mistakes and make sure it doesnt happen again, it goes a long way to having the right balance in life. Dont give up, just make sure the wee pussie isnt able to do it again

I was always told to look for 50% left of what you started the season with. Which to date has been the case for me since i started.

He was looking for the upgrades brian, none in particular, he just couldnt find them when you go into the download it tells you when it was last updated. The manuals are from 2009, but the upgrades are from 2010. 2010 manager edited 28-02-2010, last updated 05-02-2010 version 1.4.5.0 Proffesional base station version 3.07 Champ base station version 3.07 black ringer version 3.92 grey ringer version 3.92 thats the noo :-/

Glad to see one has made it back home. A word of caution to everyone DO NOT REVEAL what has been spent on your pigeons as its opening the door to your loft for thieves, and its not helping the rest of the fancy. :-/

I,m looking to build a team to compete in 2-3 years time. For the time being i,d love to win an old bird race, and young bird race. I,ve never managed to win a diploma in the nationals, so one this year would be nice. Fingers crossed

Theres one pestering my lofts at the moment. Just went out to see to the birds and the bloody thing is in the garden just looking at my. Its been prowling along the front of the loft, so the cat box is set yet again. I,ve had to liberated one already back to the owner

I had a hawk strike today which went for a chequer pied. It happened 10 feet away from me, and when the pigeon got free and shot into my loft, so did the hawk. It all happened in a split second and i had no time to do anything about it. When the hawk fled the loft it missed my face by about an inch, i didnt even have time to grab the persuader I,ll have to keep a close eye on them even more so now. In the past i,ve had a mealy taken and also a chequer white flight so it varies in my experience Ps, i had 2 whites out at the same time. :-/

The hen sparrow and peregrine hen should be getting ready to go down on eggs soon, so there will be respite from them. However the cocks will be trying their hardest to supply the hen with food, whilst she is on the nest. The cock very rarely can carry pigeons so tends to go for smaller birds to kill. Once the young are in the nest and the hen is operational, all hell lets loose again, and we need to be on our guard, not that we can do a lot as we know. :-/ :-/
