Hi Pete I use 1/2 X 1/2, which keeps everything out but you'll struggle to get something that small in the strength you need for walking in You then need to go to 1 x 1, but that's opening the door for vermin. You can always get the galvanised grills used for gang ways then fit the smaller mesh on the floor. Just an idea. regards alex

I would like to say a huge thank you to the attendees, who came to respect the trophy winners, and have a great night The banter was brilliant, the raffle was a chuckle, and the buffet (by Austins wife Betty), was a yet again second to none. The band got a few up on the dance floor, and over all a good night was had by all. Another huge thank you to Mary Pryde and partner Jim Smith, who were guest of honour to issue the well earned trophies to the winning fanciers. Thank you to Methilhill bowling club for looking after us, and keeping us lubricated. A few minor errors to sort out regarding trophies, but overall, passed of very well. When I make my products, I use the best of materials, which are intended to last. I have made them in the past out of chip board at the customers request, but as I want to supply top quality products I won't use it again. An added service that I provide is bespoke products, which means you get a top quality product, using top quality materials and a product that is exactly what you are looking for. They look terrible??

Before painting, put a beed of silicone around the edge, rub it in, when dry, paint it. The cut edges are where the water/moisture soaks in, causing the wood to rot.
