  6. ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! I will be handing my notice into Fife Council, tomorrow. I am in a position where i am doing very well with my craftyfifer, which started as a hobby 2 years ago, to make it a full time job for me. I have everything in place, and registered with the relevant governing bodies, and also have a full order book till the end of February, and job requests still coming in. I will be expanding my business, by introducing a CNC routing machine, which will open so many doors, that i am really excited at the prospect. I need to thank my family, friends and you the pigeon fanciers, who have supported me through to this position and continue to do so. A special mention must go to my lovely wife Karin Wight Childminding, who has helped me immensely, by helping to get things in place, and being a brilliant person to bounce ideas off. We have been through every aspect of running a business, a hundred times or more, just to make sure we are ready. We are. I am looking forward to continuing my work in the racing pigeon world, but also expanding, and bringing unique items to the fore. I will be doing my cnc work which will help out craft businesses, as well as doing garden furniture. All my work is bespoke, so made to measure for each and every individual. My website will be getting updated throughout the next few months, to give a show case of what I'm doing. When i started to do this, never in a million years did i think i would be serving the whole of the uk, which is over whelming. Once again, thank you to each and every one of you that are part of this journey. Kind regards alex craftyfifer (on Facebook and linkedin).

  17. There has been a council meeting where all clubs should have had representation. It's up to those elected members to keep their club members up to date. Contact your club delegates who attended the meeting to get the info.

  19. I'm working next week, Monday Tuesday as normal, Wednesday Thursday on call break off on Boxing Day for a few hours. Then get on with my own orders he following week. Back in the 5th of January.
  20. Right back you Brian.
  21. Absolutely fantastic mucker. I'll have to put in an order.
  22. I like to attend and support the shows, to let the fanciers see, before they buy. I agree theres a lot available online, but its never the same as seeing the goods in the flesh. For as long as the shows want me to attend, i,ll be there. Buyers never get the opportunity to have discussions and inputs into what they are buying online, so being there has its benefits too.
  23. Thats me just back from the show. Had a great day chatting to guys and girls about everything i do, can do and will be doing. Nice to put faces to names, and have a blether. I thought it was busier this year, and better laid out too, but this is only my second year. Thank you to everyone that stopped by to have a look at some of my work, and also to have a chat. Thank you also to the she for inviting me along again. Even managed to drop off an order in Uddingston on the way home, result. Now to back to my orders lol.
