Hate repeating myself but here goes. Catterick is the best race point up to 150 miles, ive flown it maybe 11 or 12 times and failed to lose a single bird. Catterick, Thirsk,and Wetherby are 3 goers, all within 30 miles of each other but Catterick is the best one. Almond valley have used it for many years , flying it 3 or 4 times a year because its that good, rarely do they lose a bird !!!We don't know why, but its true ? Ok, ive helped ye enough lol, ps. I bet ye still don't use it, haha

Food for thought Tam but I think the way to sort the problems are face them head on and just *expletive removed* do it. We are the only sport I know that lets everybody sh it on us from a great height. Lets fight expletive remove, my idea is to run the unrung races 3 weeks before the ob season and 2 weeks before and after the yb season. This should be international races, if you know what I mean.

Ive heard that too and I definitely buy into it. We are way behind in the art of race controlling as evidence in recent races suggest.Its a pity we couldn't allow our race controllers the power to hold over if the k index was up. Another massive thing overlooked in race controlling is HUMIDITY.

Norman Orr scored year in year out without a stock loft, he bred off the ones he got back that year. He told me, he lost all his best doos at Reims and Ancenis last year and no longer has anything to back them up or to breed off. Granted, he will come back, Im sure but it may take a few years in his opinion. Stock, are a must for consistency.
