  1. Your right m8
  2. I have not had any dealings with Cooper myself but I heard of a person who had his birds lifted from Elphinstone,Scotland, going to Southampton. They were in boxes for a week and were covered in green droppings and extremely dehydrated when delivered. Cooper said their van broke down and that the pigeons were kept in a loft?????.The dehydration told another story. I hope this was a one off mistake by Cooper Logistics as some people seem to think they are very good. :-/

  8. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joe Murphy for all the hard work he has put in to help me with the yb sale for Daldorch House. The coverage and publicity he has given this sale has been fantastic and this undoubtedly contributed to its success. Weeks of work for free, yes, thats right, no charge, that is what Joe Murphy is all about. This talk of Mr 10% and all the other attempts at character assassination has been totally uncalled for. The Daldorch House school for autistic children is very grateful to Mr.Joe Murphy for his help. Thank you, Derek & Linda Hay ps Once again I have to say that the SNFC have made a huge error in their new appointment of P.R.O ???????????
  9. Are birds up??? Says different on libline delayed liberation.
  10. Thats the sale finished.I would like to say that I enjoyed it but I would be telling a lie.It was totally shambolic with e mailed bids not being registered by Elimar.May I take this opportunity to say that every bid mailed by myself and Joe Murphy was done so in plenty of time and the problem lies totally with Elimar. The sale made about £7500 after paying Elimar etc which is absolutely amazing and I thank everyone who donated or purchased a bird. Derek Hay
  11. what distance
  12. Thats right Alf, the sale finishes tonight and I would like to say what a fantastic response we have had already. If you are interested in any lots dont hesitate because the calibre of ybs on offer are second to none and are unlikely to be on offer again . Dig in deep ladies and gents and lets raise as much cash as possible for these special children. Regards, Derek Hay
  13. Who is away from Midland fed apart from 5 Kirky members.I know that there usually are some from Salsburgh and Chapelhall?
  14. After six races with Lanarkshire fed I had lost only 3 ybs from a total of 208 sent. I got another one back yesterday and then one more today. ( both covered in mud )That means I have lost one yb over six races. Absolutely fantastic returns although I would have liked a couple of longer races as we only had 122 miles and we may struggle a bit at yb National 261 miles. Nevertheless, we cannot complain after flying the west route for 4 years and being left with very little birds.
  15. That is very true, you cant fail right up the coast ;D
  16. I knew he wasnt going. That goes without saying,

  18. Go for it Alfy. Srike when the irons hot
  19. Dundee fanciers have been doing well in recent years in YB National, but if the wind has to be easterly then they wont have a chance this year :-/
  20. I see the Fife transporter is getting used for this race
  21. It is a shame Gareth but the ybs will still manage yb National Im sure.
  22. 29/28 now thats good returns, got one from a couple of weeks ago. Kirky won at 15.37 104 miles. I have sent 208 pigeons over 6 races with Lanarkshire this year and I have lost 3 in total. Happy days
  23. Bears, 2-1
  24. 27/28 another great decision by Lanarkshire race control team.
