I've heard folk say they wouldn't have a red, mealy, grizzle or pied etc in their loft Colin but I don't get this attitude. Imagine having an athletic squad only made up of people with a certain colour of hair, it's a wee bit daft imo.and you are reducing your chances of having a better team of athletes.

Colour means fk all, I've had plenty of decent snfc birds that were reds

no need 3-4 weeks imo, a lot of guys doos are locked up from Sept - first week in April before they are let out and they still manage to get them right for the first race.( this includes myself )if the birds are split, they will get fit very quick

mine will get 2 or 3 spins before first race as they are flying well at loft. Thats just my yearlings though as my older birds know the script and will be started later.

Why miss any races if they can go? Get up in the morning and train them and then the same at night if needed. No excuses.
