is the loft for racers?

nice looking birds. hope they do well for you. i was ment to start racing this season but im moving house. so jelous of everyone with new racers :'(

dont let a bird out if your not sure if it will return. i did it the other day with a tippler. out it went and it was never to be seen again! wont be doing that again.

prevention is better than cure. theres no point puttin all your birds at risk for the sake of one bird. do you not have a nother shed to put it in while you have some tests done? i wouldnt keep it with the others.

if it doesnt look good then i would get rid of it before the rest of your birds go the same way! it could be a number of things. best to be safe than sorry i say.

im trying to pair up exhibition fantails and they fight like crazy! i had to split them up lastnight in fear of one of them getting hurt!

i have heard of a bird that got lost in a race. the bird was from cuba and ended up in england. it flew over 3000 miles.

i started with an 8x4 foot loft. have 16 birds.

im going to stay at home and train a young tippler hen ive got.

if you signed a contract saying pet allowed then theres nowt he can do. find a new house!

i have 2 touch lights if im in the loft when its dark.

mines was leaking but i built it myself...my harsh work. got it fixed though. i have windows with mesh, and when its raining i have a sliding peice of perspex to cover the windows. not good ventelation but keeps the rain out.

i havnt established a good family of birds yet due to just starting to breed show birds, but i have brown saddle indian fantail which is one of the niceist looking birds i have ever seen. he also has brown grizzle on his chest and head. and hes massive! i also have a nice looking white tippler whith a silver triangle from the bottom of his kneck all the way down his back. im going to pair him with a black and white hen. see what i come up with!
