I,ve lost 36 off the loft this year and only had 1 returned from Eyemouth, got 18 left and was just going to keep them till next year but I,ve decided they are going for a toss today.
Not sure about Kelso, we,ve had some bad tosses from there in the past and just dont go there anymore, same with St Boswells, crap place for tosses but go 2 mls past or 2 mls shorter then they come fine. Hard to understand.
I collected a lot of Elderberries last year and soaked them in Cider Vinegar, just started putting it in the water today, dunno if it will do them any good tho.
All in your mind I think, you guys from the West for some reason seem to think you are at a disadvantage and everyone and their Uncle is against you, but if the truth be told then the prevailing wind is normally from the West and you guys fly your birds from East to West which encourages them to fly a dog-leg back home and I dont care what anyone says the best way home is in a straight line which will never happen in pigeon racing
Read the SNFC reports on both Alencon and Niort and I think you will find that John timed from both with crossed Leo van Rijns. Its all about preparation and motivation. Vandenabeeles cant fly further than 300 but 1st Sec B Clermont is a Vandenabeele same way bred as one that was 1st sec B from Eastbourne a couple o years back.
Well done Vicki you done the wee bird proud which is more than can be said for the owner. All the best to you n your hubby for the wee bundle of joy that you have coming and please let us all know how this turns out as well. thanks again
Worst season I,ve had, think the weather has a lot to do with it. I,ve had enuf of the doos for this season so not racing the ybs, gonna have a wee break from it and start rebuilding next year.
