you have quite good results Owen and the birds you bred are suited to your system so there should be a higher acceptable rate you hope from what you breed in your own loft percentage wise as you have weeded out what dont meet your standards though years of selection but to buy in new blood is a must or else the stock loft can go stale the first set of results i look at each week is the Tienverbond results in Belgium i believe fancier for fancier its the toughest competition in Belgium then as you know its a matter of studying the results birds sent etc and how others do with the birds from the area what i would say is that one top class flyer from the region his birds dont do as well for others the germans are very smart pigeon people and they are all over people who race in the Tienverbond like a rash lol
