  1. Jimmy they wont become involved any serious debate because of a few issues, they have for years lied about the numbers of bop and have lied about the number they release, they lie about how these released birds are trained to hunt pigeons prior to release, they will not accept they have tried to play mother nature and failed miserably. we have for years put up with watching our birds getting attacked and ripped to bits trying to get home. maybe now the shoe is on the other foot they might shift their stance but for as long as they police themselves...........i don`t think so.

  6. little mealy hen came in with Bert Gardiners birds last night looks like hawk had a go at her, some tail feathers missing.
  7. no chance of cheating with the GEM gps system because the bird wearing the device must return home for you to download the data using google earth, the info provided is average speed and also speed at any number of set pointers. if you want to know which route your birds take when homing it shows you exactly also at what height they were flying at etc. I was sure brian said it was £130 for the software and one gps device and all others were £99 after that.

  19. well done jimmy fantastic effort mate any details on the winning bird.
  20. Hello Paul, i was down at Jimmy`s on Saturday morning and you are correct a real gentleman with some real class stock pigeons, Jimmy helped me out last summer when i had a bird reported in his area and he collected it for me and looked after it until Amtrak(remember them) were able to pick it up. In all his dealings with members on here and elsewhere i have never heard anyone say a bad word about jim or the birds they had from him. Keep up the good work Jim and well done on Saturday 1st and 2nd.
  21. i was looking at the gem site and they have a gps system for £125 i think it was also some video clips showing how it works, shows birds height and speed at various points along the route home very interesting.
