  3. pure rubbish mate as i can tell you i know two of the people who were on the phones bidding today, between them them they spent over £4,000 to obtain more of Ian`s Jos Thone bloodlines and the Koopman x Thones. What really amazes me is why people don`t call down and visit Ian and order some late breeds because you get superb birds at very reasonable prices, i know this because i visited him and bought 10 a few years ago but i left with a lot more because he gifted me some real crackers including the sire of a youngster this year who was never outside the top 100 in the rpra one loft race programme and in the final race was 37th open. his full sister was 1st fed this year and is now the property of pigeon basics no1 drunk alf.......................................... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D sorry big chap..................... ;) ;)

  6. it does not matter what they cost just so long as it is bone dry and has plenty of fresh air passing through, cracking loft and a credit to you hope you time plenty of winners into it.

  10. george is a gentleman and a cracking old character who offers a great service as does john miller so whoever you choose your birds are in safe hands, i have used both and 100% happy with them.

  15. ally make sure you know what size nest boxes you are going to use before deciding on section sizes no point in wasting any space.
  16. Do any of the forum members have a new start or novice in their club or area who is looking for some birds. if you have please let me know. birds will be mostly crosses of Mardon Van Reets, Ian Stafford Jos Thones , Koopmans, and Gaby Vandenabelles plus a few others.
  17. very hard to get good officials alan especially in the race control/convoyer post as we all know you are only as good as your last race.
  18. i think lanarkshire had a good young bird season due to the east coast route and also an excellent job carried out by the race control team, will the same men be in position for next year.
  19. spoke to the big man yesterday and he was in top form, just busy around the house you know how it is, you finish and hard shift come home have to do the hovering, dusting, washing, ironing, make the dinner, walk the dog........................ ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D 8)
