thanks for all the comments and frank you are spot on. all the hard work and trips to germany and dealing with geraldy was down to gordon. all i did was take a few photos ..... :D .he is very happy with the quality of the new transporter but the way he is talking about the new federation transporter it sounds like it will be something special. i hear it may be ready for the blackpool show..... . will get some photos of it when it arrives.

all of the prices above are reasonable, when you work out how much you spend yourself just on youngsters in one season taking them out to 30 miles not just on fuel but time involved etc... 3 tosses a week from say 30 miles is a total of 180 miles which is a good half tank of fuel for most also would take approx 6 - 7 hours of your time. so if you were sending 40 youngsters at 20p each = £8.00 x 3 =£24.00 almost the cost of half a tank of fuel but with 6 hours saved for something else, also no wear and tear on your own vehicle. there are plenty of clubs and private individuals offering good service and convenient pick up points so my advice is to make the most of these services as they really do save you and not just ££££

tammy the price of our feeding and the availability of it is going to become a major issue in the near future, i saw a notice today from a supplier stating that things will get far worse before they get better................ : : :

no mate you dont need it. where it comes in handy is if you want detailed times for all your birds that were entered in a race or training. people who work shifts or with young familys might appreciate it more than a retired person or someone who is at home every race day. all it does is record a time for your bird same as a stb, T3, toulet, etc etc. people talk of some fanciers filling the result with their birds well these fanciers can do it just now with T3`s so what is the difference. some clubs have a rule where your first 3 birds timed go forward to the club result but all your birds are eligable for the fed result. all depends how you want to handle it. for me there are two main benefits, if i have to work on the saturday i can still send and get a time, and when the birds come home they dont have a crazed loony chasing them around to pull a rubber off their leg. ets wont make your birds get home any quicker and wont make you an overnight superstar.....good bird and good management will..... 8)

i was told it is not entirely down to the bad harvest but also to do with all those petrochemical companies buying up all sorts for their "Bio Fuel" experiments. i hav heard they doubled their orders from last year. so expect the price to keep going up.......... : : :

yes mick that is very possible, and easy to do. some ets systems are currently being upgraded to allow the owner to input distances etc watch out over the winter months.

correct tony not allowed to have your ets connected through a pc to produce results just yet. think there was a case in europe where information from ets clock was "altered" while passing through the pc....................
