  1. Has anyone compared Bos pellets with G10, the boss are about 3 quid cheaper and contain orego stim.
  2. Aye its funny everyone has a different story, nice wee doo. Al.
  3. Sods law isnt it, I have had some lovely doos from malky Brown, when I was collecting them this year he handed me a cracking pied cock, I said how I liked them and he said so do the bleeding hawks. The doo never made it to the end of the season. Maybe its just coincidence all mine are gone this year.
  4. My team is mostly blue and dark cheqs now jimmy. Only bred one red this year and she's still here.
  5. For the last 2 years I have started the seasons with a few pied birds, looking at what I have left after them flying to me there are none, a few white flights and a couple with small white markings but no pieds. Mr peregrine must like them right enough. Pity as I like them!! Does anybody else find this?
  6. Must be something to do with the good advice I have been getting
  7. Think it was maybe 3 weeks ago frank, its great to see them through the moult and looking good.
  8. Hes one of my favourites, the cheq, bred by Malky Brown in Arrochar and gifted as a YB, will try and get a pic.

  11. The 2nd pic is Chickadee's Frank.
  12. I wondered about that to Chick, It just seemed fairly localised though. Hardy wee things though arent they.
  13. Not a problem, I was well looked after by the nurses in Canniesburn when it happened. Al.
  14. I think I noticed it maybe a day after it happened, think the black is just dried blood, at least thats what I thought at the time. Al.

  16. So am I Frank, just being a bit more careful!!!
  17. LOL. Wee accident with a bench saw, learnt the hard way!!
  18. Glad to say Its healed up fine whatever it was. I ment to post the pic before, was curious what It might have been. Al.
  19. Never seen a protein lump before Frank, what ever it was glad it didn't kill it. Do you reckognise the doo?
  20. Just a single hole, the bird had access to the aviary but would hate to think it was a pellet, though it does look a bit like it.
  21. This is a picture of a bird from last week, any ideas what may have caused it.
  22. That is exactly what I have done in the past, works a treat. Only problem is if its a mix they scatter what they dont like looking for their favourite seeds. Al.

  24. Appreciate all the thoughts Andy, all food for thought. Al.
  25. That would be an option Andy but its difficult enough to get the birds trained in the one direction. Even a 15 mile toss is an hour and a quarter round trip. Al.
