  2. Would like to thank Brian @ www.pigeoncourier.co.uk unreservedly for another great job done. Brian agreed to do a near 500 mile round trip for me to collect a shed and equipment from Runcorn in Chesire today. Not only did Brian do the job but he also sorted out the hire of the pick up truck and its return tomorrow to the hire company as well as pulling a 12ft trailer with shed. Many thanks for organising it and doing another job that is well beyond that expected of a 'Normal courier' I promise thats the end of the crazy jobs for now that have included everything from sheds, nestboxes, parrots, dogs etc

  6. Just a curious question why do Pigeon Force work alongside Phantom flyer and not UK's?
  7. Just had word from Jeanette over on Pigeon Chat that due to the site's server upgrade yesterday the site is down today with some technical difficulties from the server change over. She wanted all members of PC to be assured that they are working hard to get the site back online and hopefully it will be back on at some point this evening.

Pigeon chat are in fairness doing a much smaller upgrade than what we are on here hence the delays - We want to do it all once and once only and when we are ready we will close the site and do it all.

He is still on the go at the minute until the business can be passed on - Dont think he has ever been so busy either ;D Will be very sorry when he does move the business on though.
  19. PJ does them in green
  20. Think its been said before but i would enthunaise the birds remaining as its looking apparent the problem has spread. Is there any pigeon fanciers near you that even race and keep bonafide racing pigeons and not just streeters as this would be your most suitable source as the birds they have will hopefully be in a healthier state.

Quite agree with you on Brian and his business - my only choice ever since first time used - Worth his weight in gold and to be honest in my view he is to cheap but i wouldnt want to give him any ideas ;D My only critiscm of Wayne and his Flying courier business (Ok well two) is that there seems to be personal problems or vendettas splashed about (Not blaming him overall for it though) and more importantly he will do a few weeks work and then disappear for a few months - Its something i would say to him in person so is meant as constructive - When he has the job it seems to be done well. At the end of the day the wheat has been sorted from the chaff - There is 4-5 good couriers about now all do a great job under pressure and those that couldnt handle the pace, did a poor job or thought they were the dogs danglies are gone now leaving the good genuine ones to service the fancy properly.

    o my god

Sorry to hear about this Bakes. I bought 2 Jos Thones from Blythy1 last night on here - Your welcome to one of them when there ready as a replacement. Be wary of any other birds that the cat has clawed or attacked as i found out to my own regret last year - Cat had clawed the bird and despite treating the wound properly the bird still died - someone suggested to me that this is regular when a cat attacks a bird - The bird was fine on theday it was injured, over the course of 48 hours after it dropped weight and subsequently died.
  25. You will be fine mate - I still have 2 pairs of stock i havent paired yet (infact there isnt a loft up for them yet!) and there young will be in at the 2nd race and if last years young are any indication on late birds they will do the programme.
