Who would want to take pigeons to Blackpool and not put them in the big show anyway?? :-/ :-/

Personally i dont think it's worth the hassle as most people are out enjoying themselves at night and seeing old friends that they only catch up with at Blackpool

I started going into 1 of my uncles lofts as a young kid ( 2 of my uncles and 2 of my cousins raced pigeons ) and that was me hooked and i was soon in the loft every day and ended up in partnership with him and learned quite a lot from him mostly in the pub on a friday night after the doos were away ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D We stayed in partnership until he died about 11 years ago and since then i have raced them on my own..

I have ordered 60 rings but have started training 47 & 46 in the last 2 years

Our fed Are charging us £9.50 a basket this year with up to 28 pigeons in it and i think our club is charging 40p a pigeon next season

I would like to think plans are already in place re the transporters in the not too distant future... and i hope we have a y/b sale and also a l/b sale as this is a good way of bringing in more funds for us

You should be sitting in the loft with a pick shaft or base ball bat as they always come back again ;) Trust me my loft is on an allotment aswell 8) 8) 8)
