Tried something different myself this winter as in i have'nt used any of my feeders for feeding the doo's all i have done is go into the section and through the grub on the floor whether i have cleaned out or not and the only reason i have done it is to build up a bit of immunity as i dont just want my doo's getting all clean stuff all the time i want them to build up the immunity but during racing the grub will go back into the feeders again

I have to disagree on the hand feeding bit Ben if both parents are in good health and cant rear a nice pair of y/b's there's only 1 place for them as if they cant feed a pair of y/b's they wont be any good once they get a bit of distance once the racing starts
