No offence taken we have to look at what is best for the doos at the end of the day...I stated at the beginning of the year i would'nt send my yb's the west route and i will stand by that as it is my choice but even sending the east route i am scared to send all my yb's to the same race in case i get skelped but i do agree 1005 about being flexible and moving from 1 side of the country to the other if the weather is better i would welcome anything that gives the birds a better chance

Am no really into this east v west stuff but i will make my decision as to where i send my doos i dont make a big deal out of it or say what route is best or worse i made my mind up before the old bird racing started this year where i would send my yb's whether it comes back to bite me on the *expletive removed* or not i dont care but i will do what i think is right by my yb's and remember i have'nt set a clock in yb racing for a couple of years now so not interested in winning with them i only want them back home....

No sure Gareth maybe lack of training but the other guys have been training and still doos missing

Yep Eaglesfield is brilliant my pal and me tossed 12 doos in preparation for a channel race earlier this year and got 1 on the shift and most the next day cannae wait to try it again NOT!!!

My post was never meant as criticism of Peter but i have always thought that unless there is absolutely no chance of a race the doos go to the race point on a friday AND THEN THE RACE CONTROLLER DOES HIS JOB Shoot me down for my thought's if you like Alan

Peter as you say you have made 1 mistake but i have always been of the opinion that the doos have to be at the racepoint as the weather is that unpredictable now get them down there and then if need be cancel the race after it mate... Only my opinion mind Alan

I was just up checking if i had any strays back today and of the guys that never sent last weekend but were going for their 1st race this week from Longtown 1 has 7 out 27 another 22 out 32 another waiting on 11 and another 9 to come....
