I would be interested to know this, would the ETS pad pick up the fact that a stray has gone in and give you details of the owner? Tariq.
-
I'l ask Tony lol
-
Nope, Its only a small club, I would notice a new face easily but I havn't seen anyone new at all ever really, except one guy last week who was bringing birds down on behalf of a club member as he was at a wedding, but doesn't fly in our club although he mentioned wanting to fly young birds next year - didn't say what his name was though? There is a Chris in our club now, who raced his first young bird race this weekend gone, I'm not sure of his surname, but he's a new guy and wouldn't need me to give his best to Tony and Bob as he sees them often enough, I'm guessing that's not you? lol Tariq.

Gosh, in all the times I'v been to the club since last year, all the races/meetings etc I'v never even heared a mention of someone called Gary, I must be loosing it or something :-/ ;D Tariq.
-
Thanks for your kind words everyone Chris: 60 odd pigeons went and only 38 miles, I know the Delbars are extreme distance pigeons ;D
-
Nope, I'v never been to the ferns club, or shown a pigeon lol
-
I'm 17, I still live with my parents
-
;D Ah well lol Yep, will keep the results coming. We're racing from Swindon next weekend, but I'm not sure if I'l be able to race as I have a Duke of Edinburgh's award Gold Expedition to Dartmoor and it depends what time I have to leave for that on the saturday. Tariq.

How do they know me? I'v never heared of them? Maybe they're in the Ferns club and saw me at the presentation evening?
-
Ah right, who are they then? Tariq.
-
Are you talking to me still Chris, if so, not that I know of? Tariq.
-
Ok, no problem Chris. Tariq.

Probably? But it was easier to say the George Street Bridge as it's a more obvious single land mark and a major land mark in Newport, rather than an entire area as Maindee is. Not to mention the fact that I was on the theme of bridges, with the clarence club. Bobby is still there, he's chairman, Kenny is not there now. Tariq.

Pretty sure it isn't dude, Over the George Street Bridge, Straight on Past the Lights, turn left, then right, then left and the Oddfellows is on that road. Probably 2 minutes from the George street Bridge. Edit, according to the AA route planner, the distance from George Street Furnishers (which is before the George St bridge infact) to the Oddfellows is 3 minutes and 1.4 miles. Pretty close if you ask me. Tariq.

On Duckpool road at the "Odd Fellows". Jake Fletcher I believe is in the Ferns Club. Tariq.

There are 4 clubs that I know of in Newport: Pill Pigeon Club, The Ferns Club (In Lliswerry area), The clarence club (By Newport Bridge) and the Newport Gwent & District Flying Club (My club!) which is by the George Street Bridge. If you want me to PM you the secretary's details thats fine. Tariq.

Hi Paul, I'm in Bassaleg, if you're genuine, you could probably join my club? Tariq.
-
Wow, congratulations!

Hi Guys I raced again today, not as good as last week, but not a disaster! I'm not bothered about winning anyway. I got 7th, this time my best bird was one I bred out of a delbar that I got from Vallance lofts. Thanks! Tariq.

Rhondda Valley Fed at Hullavington
-
Ah right, just wanted to see if any fellow members were. Are you flying young birds at the moment? I'm looking forward to Hullavington this Saturday, hopefully the weather will be ok.

I would like to publically thank Redcheqhen (Susan) for sending me half a dozen T3 thimbles free of charge. They will no doubt be used well over the next few weeks - thanks a bunch! Thanks for your offers and willingness to help Clive and Chris too! Tariq.

Yes, it says "A total of £5.52 was taken in 10 pools. 0% of the pools will be retained by the club and so £5.52 will be paid in prizes". The it's got a table Pool: A B C D E F G H I J No.Prizes: 2 2 2 2 1 1 1 2 2 2 Prize.1: 0.07 0.12 0.24 0.09 0.25 0.40 0.00 0.60 0.60 ? Prize.2: 0.05 0.08 0.16 0.06 0.40 0.40 ? I can't see the prizes for J as the printing goes off the sheet. It then says Owner Pools Payout Mr G Hazelwood £3.23 Can you make sense of that? Why are there 2 prizes, but only 1 member having a pools payout. What happened to the rest of the pool money if only £3.23 was paid out? Tariq.
