put louvers at each gable end of the shed about 12" square and about 8" down from apex warm stale air is probably stagnating in roof space and not getting out.. if it cant get out then fresh air exchange cant happen .. sometimes its not all about getting stale air out but pumping/blowing fresh air in which is more effective than extracting it.. or change your roof to a pent(flat)and have 2" gap front and back hope this was helpful

personaly i beleive if a pigeon can think it will come home ...... trouble is too many people carry too many pigeons that can only fly straight..and fast..and the brains are up there asre blowing them. too many followers in a team in basket out down road in basket out etc. what i appreciate is the likes of gareth rankin making sensible comments, with performances to back up any statements.

well thanks to the photograph of a unikon pad disasembled. it confirms the reason why unikon users are advised to have tunnels it also confirms that there , is no need for acheap circuit board (PCB) sounds frightenley expensive to be inside the pad ....... the electronics of these ets systems is old fashioned just like parralell cables nearly obsolete and these are supposed to be the bees knees............. I AM A ETS USER AND ADVOCATE IT !!!!!!! but the prices dont justify it........ all electronic equipment comes down in price as newer technology takes over but agents have no income once the system is sold unless they hold a monopoly I. E. rings up to £1.50 each.....holding back activation codes clocks that willneed batterys replacing yes that sealed unit what you have been using should come with a future price warning. all i can say is copper corrodes the quality and gauge will determine life expectancy along with dampness / humidity, and also wether pad is left in loft or taken out each week .. bricon pads come with 2yr gtee but pads only get used for 6 mnth? also if you buy in closed season the less gtee you have.

the master is a sensor it has to pick up the chip at basketing. there have been several incidents where master has pickrd up rings not actually been offered up to master but birds in basket in to close proximity about a 2 foot away .??????? FACT!!!

the pads are an absolute rip off........ a clubmates went faulty bricon 6 feild £252 to replace or £75 plus p+p all they consist of are copper wire coils like A.M. ariels. i have seen lofts in belgium with antenna running around opening. similar system used in radio controlled car racing and them fulkers do about 60mph over finishing line and record split seconds. i think im going to make my own coil antenna as no rule not law says i cant as nothing has to be registerd?????????? cheeeeeeap as chips sorry they are a fking ripp off cheers unikon kon kon

the big difference to take into consideration is that its NOT just about the moult but darkness increases maturity/sexual oriantation and we all know in pigeon racing sex motivates, widowhood , eggs youngsters etc. so a natural pigeon sent flying back to the perch has no urgency or inclanation but the experience gained will serve it well.

hi folks need your help advice to strenthen achieve long distance team. 400-700mile my location give or take 50 mile is midlands/lincolnshire. so far birds of j donaldson have been aquired well bred. Either to inbreed/linebreed not sure yet looking long term ,possibly for another scotch long distance family fancier no one that needs to send more to win if you no what i mean. so could people please P.M. me with aproachable possible faniers not flying short. i have scanned j murphy,s column and SNFC latebred sale some bloody good birds but expect them to fetch what they deserve good that is. But realy want pigeons to base a family i.e inbreed/linebreed then possibly cross into donaldsons and fly against . please pm me with contacts etc latebreds bred around a family of winners are an option. cheers

naturaline i like and use a lot .................BUT if it where for human consumption it would have to list the ingredients ,there are no indications or ingredients list on the bottles except for claiming to have a beneficial effect, possibly phycological,but it is very expensive like gold........................whatever happened to scientificly proven!!!!!!

hi i want to make my own from dried herbs. theres a lot of varying horse products out there containing varius different herbs, the plan is once simmered bottled then add to at approx rate of 20ml to 2 lires water but how long will say a one litre stew last for (shelf life) or will it need preservitives??? ingredients of one for example are ,marigold,kola,sage,hip,fenugreek,yarrow,etc,. and it should work out a hell of a lot cheaper 1KG could make up to 50 litres at the rate of 20gram per litre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOW THINK COS NATURALINE IS ABOUT £4 A LITRE!!!!!! yet 1KG of herbs mixed is from £10 upwards .thoughts please especialy from jimmy white n vic(shy)

yes ive the saying born in may fly allday!! but a lot of sayings have also fallen by the wayside, and the time it takes birds to get back from distance racing, i,e races at 500miles are over in hours, not days!!

hi just had two pairs of stock lay in last two days, second round. First round ready for parting now off these. Parents bought in end last year (latebreds). so if i decide to keep the eggs will thses be classed as latebreds or be ready for some racing this year as they will be on natural light along with 15 others (including nestmates) as i have a team on darkness so aint upsetting them!!!!. But i need to try all pairings in loft asap,process of elimination. thoughts please

on last round need to be selective too many eggs not enough sitting i.e 4 pair but 10 eggs 2 floated from race team, at the mo two pair sitting three eggs so to be selective does it make any difference of size of eggs small? or large? ive got throw two!! due to either dates laying.
