It should come under the auspices of the RPRA especially if the bird had a Gb ring surely they have "Duty of Care" to the card carrying fancier. It is all too easy to pass the buck and not to rock the boat.

It sounds a bit harsh especially as the breeder is only getting 40% surely all should pay proportionate costs as you will all get cut at the final selling price. Looks like having your cake AND eating it
