I have to agree with spin cycle don't see any point in pressurising people into registering just another way of chasing them away it's all about "freedom of choice" It may be better to allow so many free visits to the site before cutting their access if they like what they see all good and well. Watched a programme last weekend about the re-introduction of of the red kite stated the streets of London were full of them but was when the street were literally full of Sh+te a breeding programme was set up with the usual secrecy they now boast 1000 breeding pairs and that was in Scotland.We all know that the BOP breeding programme has led to birds being located in town centres and a pair of Peregrines at Stirling Castle. Multiply that length and breadth of the country and you will come up with some surprising figures

Clashing with 4500 birds I would have thought they would have went the other way ,with the "drag" have never seen a BOP attack on a convoy of that magnitude but would have thought the sheer weight of numbers would have pushed through.Ever been in a football crowd where the ones in front try to stem the flow sheer numbers force it on. Anyone who has been at a disaster will back this up - IBROX it's the worst feeling in the world

David Bills must surely keep the momentum going and get the new image of pigeon racing out into the public domain .The amount of monies paid out to charities and other good causes I am sure outstrips any other considering our size and most important our way of life owes a lot to the pigeon without them it could have been "Zieg Heil" instead of "God Save The Queen"

RSPB record has stuck again,stuck again,stuck again same old rhetoric never the BOP always looking for scapegoats only thing positive I am sure as hell glad cats don't fly

Big Pete if the bird cannot be taken up privately get it to the SPDS depot in Manchester and they will deliver it COD at I think a nominal fee

Top secret listening station security tighter than a crabs arz would not expect too much information from them regarding their operation has on the pigeons, but you never know

Thanks for doing the job of repatriation of the birds, the whole setup needs looking at these Guys & Gals are the backbone of the sport and deserve a medal.

If my memory serves me right was there not a stray centre at Gretna where strays were picked up by the fed transporter and brought back up the road

All my birds (old & young) carry leg rings with tel. no.I lost 20 in a loft fly-away when let out for the first time - never had one reported. Thanks for that Gareth

As a Scot must admit Arsenal have terrific talent in their youth policy as a Gers man was impressed the way these young men took us apart in the pre season friendly and Gary Cauldwell truthfully said his part from the other side of the "Old Firm" They have a great chance if they can sustain momentum

And most Flew down the West Coast where the birds had a good line of flight :-/ :-/ :-/

The unfortunate thing is a lot of Scottish fanciers fly with GB rings and I would respectfully ask if they could check any strange GB birds in their lofts, myself I have lost 20 in the last three races excluding Catterick (St Boswells,Otterburn & Otterburn) Many Thanks Tom
