i tried not racing ybs for 3 or 4 years when i moved to my present address with not much success with yearlings and heavy losses but since i started giving them 4 or 5 races ive had much better results with them as yearlings and the losses very much reduced i used to think there born good or bad but now ithink the more racing they get as youngbirdsits the making of them you cany beat education imo

heard this morning that there still a lot of doos missing from sat with lanarkshire one loft in cambuslang has dropped 30 in 2 races

got one this morning that 26/28 alot better than i thought it would be at this time yesterday

gareth expletive remove open your eyes and admit this route isnt going to work the leading times look good on paper but youve got to think of the doos that are taking allday to come home and the wans that arent lucky enough to escape these raptors .there everywhere i know but the doos have no where to go when getting clobbered in the hills of moffat and beatock even the oldbirds were struggling out of these race points

25 home from 28 sent with lanarkshire no at the races the day but well done to the winners on an eratic race booked my holiday at my work the day for the fed race program meeting il no miss it this year the doos should have tumbled in on a day like we had but they didnt ybs taking all day to fly 70 mls thats no doo racing in my eyes

as dereck said ask the guy to lock it up for a week and feed it up and i bet it comes up the road itself the doo is probably goosed thats why it went back to him when he tossed it up i dont think all the doos got the same run of the race as the ones that were on the shift but you maybe right mibee its just not got it

read an article years ago about a mr and mrs magall from ireland who were at the top at that time they trained there young birds in batches of 10 there reason for training them like this was to create a leader in every batch and they could race young birds
