If get one in nest next year mate its yours. The cock is a mealy who was good on channel his dam was a yellow who bred some good birds. Bought hen he is paired to from natural breeding station a Sion she is yellow. Generally a silver and Yellow in nest. Can't guarantee but if same next year you just sort out carriage or however want to collect.

Not trying to sound clever but one reason I didn't send as unsure about racepoint. Also wanted to send to MNFC this week and only so much money. Sure those 15 will turn out good uns. Hope some more work in. National diffrent to the clubs thats for sure.

Great flying. These guys had quiet yb season up to there standards. If got birds in thsi weekends MNFC could be big result. Can you post top 10?

Sorry to hear that Vic how were returns? You should of clocked and returned clock as gone to all hassel of clock set marking ect. If I have birds always return clock as least then no where improvements needed. Sure those that made it will be good birds in future as had to work to make home. Hope not put you off national and your racing old birds with them next year. Wayne :)

As said may be an advantage. My mate has three cats one follows him into loft! I have seen his cats lying in front of loft with pigeons pecking around them. All about patience and training. But you will get no other cats in garden once sorted.

Sorry to hear that bad returns for you David really hope get some work back. Well done on 8th section. I have entered only 2 ybs and 6 old hens next week hope turns out better race. Key is getting them up early as light is fading fast in evenings now. Hope non fancier is wrong about that bird as you know when knackered they do look that way.

Very smart Karl. A credit to you. Hope many winners pass through those traps in future. Is the groung floor for stock or general storage? Think with build quality loke that you could make good living. Wayne

Thats the start of good idea there. Good thought still get close timings but would stop people having banks of timing pads. Wayne PS I'm not anti or for ETS as I know my birds not good enough which ever system I use so until the day I fly better and am beaten by ETS that is day I buy it. But I know I have to put alot of effort in to get up to good level and an ETS system will not do that for me.

Great flying Stuart. This is system of leaving out all day? forgot to ask is loft open or closed during day? well done some great flying that. Do you have go at NFC or BBC? as birds seem on form. Makes heavy head better knowing performance like that

You need to have the right amount of youngsters that your loft will take no overcrowding, as many as you can look after and that you can afford to keep as in buy good food. When comes to racing and indeed training don't risk them all to begin with as always birds in loft for another week or day. Reason for this is you will get heavy losses on a particular day as we all do at times so need to make sure not all team. Its a great hobby and yes we sound doom and gloom when goes wrong as in losses but no better feeling than seeing one fold up and home to you. If you don't join the hobby you will never experience this great feeling. Wayne

This year I thought I had to try something as had a 94 and 96 birds not had anything from in 2 years so put 94 bird to 04 hen who always gets 100% hatch and 96 bird to yearlng hen. Bought 2 products at Blackpool first VIT -E Belgica de weerd product goes on corn and TAUBERFIT E-50 Rhonfried in the water used these alongside each other and 100% hatch also a 92 bird who I can't remember last time hatched with same hen been with for 3 years just to see out retirement 2 hatched unexpectently. So will use these products next year. Used them as soon as paired until all eggs laid so over what was on bottles but really wanted babies.

Hi my mate had them when he re started and they came great as young birds but never held in as old birds. He had the Gaby Vandenbele that came for him. Sorry no personal expeience or knowledge but sure someone will come online who knows something.

Not from Scotland so obviously just watching this thread but always admire Scottish results and buy DVD every year. But if thread just about someone not previosly racing birds then how can this be so suspicious. A fancier can privately train there birds as was inland not channel racing. And if pooled then could of been confident. Just so no ones jumps on my back over this post no idea who fancier is so not defending anyone just feel not a reason for other people results to be questioned.

Geoff Kirkland good read as is Ken Kippax but you can't go wrong with Squills and stud book get them every year these outline the winning fanciers and methods of that year. Great winter reading. Now dvd's the secrets ones by Jim Jenner can't wait till another one done.
