  2. just checked met check the weather is going to be the same untill friday saturday looks better. well thats for selby where i live and newbury where the birds are racing from this weekend
  3. thats what i did today had 45mins without rain had them out for the 45mins continualy flying the 45 and thats what i will do if its the same all week i wait till i see a clear pacth coming over and out they go lol.but i do let them out in rain to they got to get use to flying in rain coz they will hit it on the way home at some point.

  6. if you let your birds out at the same time every day the hawks get to know when they are out,i found that two years back, now i stagger the times i let them out not lost one to a hawk since.but thats not saying they 100% safe from a hawk atack but it helps a grate deal

  17. hi im thinking of leaving my south road club to fly north,i raced south now for about 4 years, the south road only have 206 miles before they have to go over channel, the north road has about 400 miles before the water,i feel that the north road would be better for me coz i could race inland only and dont have to worry about going over water,BUT the thing that worry me is will i lose a lot of my obs by swining them south ? mmmmmmm any one ever swong the birds round and what happened ? mark
  18. yeah i happy with that,i decided i not sending to channel racers anymore i cant be doing with it. i injoy the inland racing and that will do for me, dont care if i come 1st or last i just injoy sitting in the garden and seeing them return,thats a win to me.lol
  19. hi guys i sent all my racing cocks after all , 100% returns, not sure where i came in club yet as we were at the fed end and our sec takes them home and sort them there will let you know when i know prob be next week lol.
  20. had a bad breeding season this year i only got 10 so will have to make sure they are ready before sending for sure could be over for me early this year lol
