Three more back early sunday morning and one more this morning so 5/11 which i suspect is pretty good as there are only 139 birds listed on the sheet at the end of sunday. Agree pretty much with the above except i cant understand where the southern section birds have gone too.

1 and a blue hen who has raced from the channel 5 times, twice as a yearling and three times this year. As a yearling 1st Club 10th Fed 334m and then 4th Section 27th open MNFC Tours 444m. This year 62nd section 131st Open MNFC & 51st section 457th Open MNFC & 22nd section 252nd Open MNFC Tours again. A super hen 3 times her velocity has been between in the 11 and 12 hundred ypm. I rate her equally as good as the cock who won the national. Whatever the wind we have no advantage as we are quite central and one of the last drops.

Just looked at the 07/08 RSPB accounts and to my untrained eye it looks like remuneration was £35m. That,s about a third of their annual income. It would be great too find out what sort of salaries the directors and exec's are receiving.

I have just read that for approx 400 years the peregrine population in this country was 800 pairs. By the RSPB's own admission in 2002 there were 1400 pairs. That figure has probably increased significantly in the last 7 years too. Anybody know how the european racers deal with this problem - presumably the numbers will have grown over there too! What stance have the French taken - they are not usually slow to fight their corner if they feel they something is unjust. Finally what sort of remuneration do these RSPB supremo's get. Can we find out through the charities commission or freedom of information act or anywhere else.

Can anyone tell me the process and guidelines for applying for an RPRA award. Cheers Dazza

I do believe that they vaccinate them too early. I don't think that their immune systems are ready for it at 4 weeks old.
