  19. Can anyone help? we have had two Indian saddlebacks for a while now, at first they were going through the motions of mateing, treading and even nest building and not laying any eggs. Then someone told us to separate them for about 10-14 days and then put them back together again, which we did, since then she has been laying eggs but, none of them seem to be fertile and come to nothing. Someone else told us to clip right round the vent on both birds and let them try again, which we have. She has layed more eggs since then and we are now awaiting results. does anyone have anymore ideas as to what else we can do if these eggs turn out to be unfertile too? :)
  20. we got some dried elderberries today from perth avian supplies, do you use this the same way as fresh elderberries? I mean is it in the same proportion " four soupspoons in warm water overnight then add juice to a gallon of water"? :)
  21. Aye what have ye got tae say aboot that tammy?
  22. We have clipped their feathers back a bit as their eggs so far have been infertile, so they have laid another two eggs since then so we'll keep you posted on their progress. that is the indian saddlebacks.
