I am sick to the stomach seeing this poor bird in such condition, I think all birds where at all possible should be put into single boxes for any journey however long or short, that way you are garanteed that they reach you in peak condition. (well not pecked at least). :'( :'( :'( :'(
  17. Thank you, that has put my mind at rest. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  18. Even from a very early age?
  19. Can a pigeon overeat on grit? Is it common for a young bird to confuse grit for seed? or does that just not happen. One of our young birds has been eating a fair bit of grit today and i was getting concerned incase it is confusing grit for seed. It has also been pecking the ground and eating seed, am i just being to much of a worry wart about my wee babes or is there some concern in this?
  20. I'd love to see your photos of the new loft as we are making a new loft soon, we are just levelling out the ground for it, we should be ready to build it next week. :)
  21. Sounds good, how much does it cost?
  22. Technology of today is wonderful, as long as the wee chick is unharmed by the repairing substance it's great. :) :)
