Even with the email, they still tried to blame it on us! And kept the rate of £27.50 instead of the £35 that they reckoned they were charging for the Blackpool weekend

We stayed at the Kenbarry Hotel, Albert Road, great location being round the corner from the Winter Gardens, only downside was that they messed the booking up, insisted that they didn't have it, even though I had emails of confirmation and then wanted to charge us more than we had been quoted!

Can't remember the time - was sometime after 12 maybe nearly 1 - trouble was we weren't sure what Sam looked like at first, and I think he was around the stand for a while until we 'found' him. I've also got a photo of Kieran (67ghirl's son) with Sam and Richard, which I'll put up in a bit

No, we stewarded for Ray and Louise, they live round the corner from us in St Andrews

I'm surprised there weren't wanted posters of you up around Blackpool on Sunday

I bought some rock for my sister and I thought I nearly lost Richard in a loft at one stage!

Thank you to everyone that came by the stand over the weekend and talked to myself or Richard. It was nice to see members we meet last year and new ones. We had quite a busy weekend - Friday night set up the stand then at 7.30 stewarded for the judging - class 15 and 16 - til 9.30! Then was in the Winter Gardens from 8.30am each day! We'll get some photos up soon. Thank you again to everyone that came to see us and hopefully we've all formed new friendships

We would like to announce that Little Sam has been awarded the Mickie B Trophy 2008. The judges were impressed with what all the entrants had achieved in pigeon racing and we would like to thank those that entered. We would like to present the trophy on Saturday, midday at the Pigeonbasics Stand (124 arena). We look forward to seeing everyone at the stand to congratulate Little Sam and the other entrants. sorry I like playing around with design things

best way to come up with a logo or design for something, is to jot some ideas down, like your idea of the name and the red welsh dragon, play around with it, then find an image of the dragon (best using google image search) and then send it someone with image editing software then they can refine it for you And remember everyone always knows someone from so and so who can do this that and the other

I think this thread has run its course, think about bewted's post, and it also applies to the couriers aswell. Both courier and customer should be working together to have a good relationship, in order for couriering to work. So please try not to constantly belittle each other (thats both courier and customer). If we can stop this belittling of each other and jumping into arguments and causing arguments, we will think about re-opening the couriers good and bad stories feedback thread.

There is always a lull when the racing season finishes and for some reason around Christmas people are more stressed so strange things to happen - also I think people are gearing up for Blackpool and you'll see after that and once the breeding season starts, things go back to normal

Don't think we ever had a chance to leave the stand and was even too busy to have lunch!

You can always use the Pigeonbasics stand as a meeting place, as we will have our own seating area like last year and we are opposite the bar in the Arena (stand 124), where there is lots of space to stand or sit and have a chat. That's what happened last year and at one stage there must have been about a dozen members standing around

As Flyin Couriers are having some problems, we should respect that these are private and personal. If you had birds booked with them, I'm sure Debbie is sorry that they cannot fulfill these orders and please also consider what she is going through when posting up about Flyin Couriers. If you need a courier service there are plenty of others that can be used, list found on the courier board. This thread will be locked for now and if requested it can be removed, as I'm sure we do not want to add to the problems.
