  1. As pjc has pointed out moderators aren't online 24/7, so we move posts when we can. And some posts on the notice board are normally left for a while then moved.
  2. You'll find that most posts on the notice board belong on a different board, say health or chit-chat, and these will be moved to the correct board, and it depends on which moderator is online to when they are moved. If they are recent posts you'll find that a re-direct is left so that the post can be found. Remember that it is in the moderator's own time to move these posts

  17. I'm back from school now, they loved the pigeons, lots of "ahhh he's so cute" from the little girls. Some of them were very observant and noticed the ring round their leg and they were amazed at how far they could fly. I used a map of the UK to show them. I'm also surprised at how calm the pigeon was with all the children peering round and wanting to touch. They all had turns to pet the pigeon then they all had a go at drawing the pigeons and the basket, I held one of the pigeons for them whilst they did this. Just having some trouble uploading the photos at the moment, I'll get let them up later on (well one has worked)
  18. I'm at school now waiting for the P1's to come in from their break and I have 2 youngbirds to show them. I'll post up a couple of photos later
  19. She has done a great thing and being 23 myself, it really makes you think.
  20. Rest In Peace Jade, it was very sad to hear this, especially on mothers day for her two boys and being so young it really makes you think. Whilst having cervical cancer she did a great job of raising it's profile to make women aware and to have smear tests. Yes she was under the celebrity category but she used this well, so I'm glad for the media attention because it has made women realize and understand more about the dangers of not having smear tests. So please do not turn this into a thread about her celebrity and that other young people are dying everyday day too. Please respect the nature of this thread.
  21. This thread will now be locked, as it cannot be kept on topic
