  1. This thread has been locked as requested by jak jak, if you are interested in the birds please pm or phone jak jak.
  2. me and Richard will be there with the Pigeonbasics stand, already booked our space
  3. the Pigeonbasics Shop has some health products, including oximate by Norban. Also I'm sure I saw some adverts in the BHW for various health products
  4. you'll find that some threads get moved to their relevant board, and most of the time a re-direct should be left. Also it makes it easier future reference if say health related topics are on the health board
  5. I've made this sticky, as its a good place to start for found birds
  6. True
  7. the reason that water doesnt work (we have an especially evil cat) - well the cat that comes into our garden to pick on our own cat hasn't got the picture yet, you would think it would learn that come into my garden means get sprayed with water, not very nice - well at least that's what we're taught in psychology with conditional learning etc (well it worked with dogs)!!
  8. cats arent supposed to like pepper or orange or jeyes fluid, so you could try putting some jeyes fluid around your garden, or have a water spray with pepper and orange in it (just water doesn't work!)
  9. But I'm not sure about accommodation and bars around there, I guess the Blackpool weekend is about the pigeons but the atmosphere of Blackpool makes it
  10. What about Birmingham NEC, thats pretty big and I know they have used it for dog shows, so no problem with animals
  11. Just give us some time and we'll get the improvements in place
  12. In regards to people using the site for selling, at least we can check that by the posts they've made already on the site, and the new system will have some teething problems in terms of people getting used to it and any other ways that we could improve it. With the professional status, this will be reviewed and looked at.
  13. You'll have to take that up with Richard (he'll probably be online at lunch or after work)
  14. Yes it is always buyer beware, but we are just trying to help and we are not making people jump through hoops to be validated, all we ask for is contact details (used in case there is a problem)
  15. I've taken the posts that are not relating to the sale of this pigeon off and I will form a separate topic for the replys (I've put the posts on 'becoming a seller - clear up')
  16. I'm sorry, but when Richard changed the 'for sale' section he informed everyone many times on here. And the reason for being approved as a seller, is so that the admin (Richard and myself) have the sellers contact details in case there are any problems. A while ago, a few people got conned by a member selling birds and we want to try and stop that from happening again. If you read this thread, you'll find out people were informed and more information about becoming a seller and the changes made http://forum.pigeonbasics.com/m-1219665544/s-0/
  17. It's ok, I thought that I might have had some time to do some shopping, no chance, don't think we saw daylight at all, by the time we left the winter gardens each day it was already dark!!!!
  18. Thanks, I was trying to upload the photos, but it was going too slow (think the file was too big)
  19. We had that last time, I think there's a group photo somewhere
  20. I'm looking forward to it, apart from the long drive from St Andrews it was a really good and busy weekend, me and Richard forgot to eat on both days! We'll look forward to seeing everyone at the Pigeonbasics stand in January
  21. That sounds amazing as a picture and a surgery, he must be an incredibly skilled surgeon
  22. please do not post up additional birds for sale on this thread, as steveo is not an approved seller.
  23. I think its the 24th to 25th Jan
  24. In that 159 users online, there was definitely over 100 known users
