I was informed by a fancier friend that when treating the birds worming cankering etc to make sure to boil the water to kill the clorine in it as it reacts with the chemicals in the treatment and renders the treatment useless any expert opionions on this please.

for stock birds it would help say 3/4 extra hours per day but for racers no no it could possibly start the moult off they might think its spring time with the extended light any way racers probably are better with a long break from breeding chores this is my thoughts anyway probably others think different.

they are the best thing to use ther is no better ther the perfect size for the nest bowls etc and when ur pair of pigeons build ther nest youl see the best rounded little nest imaginable if u can get them use them ,tobaco stalks somtimes can be to long anyway ther to expensive.

just a thought as probably alot of germs are spread through bath water tcp would kill them and maybe keep them clear of parasites as i know from keepin hunting dogs that dettol added to ther bath water keeps them clear o fleas.

they race very well over here up to penzance 3oo mile but havnt heard of any goin further but who knows they mite i think they would do 10/12 hoursno problem.

yeast is fungal somebody told me pot permanganet in drinking water stops this but ive never tried it pot ash kills fungal infections as that is what it was sold for but i dont know the dosage but worth a thought.
