aye ian i agree with you 100%, i work offshore and have taken birds back hundreds of times but over the last couple of years the helicopter companies have been getting a bit funny?? and not allowing pigeons on their flights not all though, and yes when the birds arrive at the heliport if you are not there at that time to collect the birds they the staff there just take the birds outside and release the birds regardless of condition of bird, and yes again its a nightmare getting parked without the police moving you on and threatening you with a fine, i have when out here in the north sea actually sent the doos in on the supply boats they are much better to deal with and look after birds as well john
