I’d be happy with a first from Dunbar ...Infact if there was a race from the bottom of my street I’d be happy if I won it. It’s called being competitive. Dunno why distance fanciers always try and slate the sprint men. In sprint racing every fancier only really relates to the winner which is usually 1k plus birdage but in national racing ye could be 6th section and ye get folk saying that’s a cracking doo that. For me it’s all about trying to top the entire convoy and due to loft location it’s hard for me to do in national racing ... but if I send to any race that is my ambition. Nothing less.
  4. Weird they would toss when a 1000 birds in area all heading for one post code
  5. The maspalomas liberated 1200 at 11am yesterday morning from 12k... most were clocked for 11:20 mate.
  6. Some people like to have them tearing the skies for hours at a time in December John and others like to be paired up and have eggs early January. Some people like them tearing the skies in march and some people like to pair up march. But it’s the same people making the same excuses year in year out I split my season into 4.... breeding OB’s YB’s Moult. I don’t try and breed and race at same time
  7. Well done everyone a fantastic class of pigeon every week. Always good banter too. See you’s next year
  8. I couldn’t make it but thanks to my good friend taking my birds for me ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  9. Was it impossible for jack Alston (2017 ancensis), GWP Macaloney (2017 Buckingham) , Cowan and finlay (2016 Buckingham) , Ricky young (2013 newbury) Tam Blair (2013 Maidstone) who is west of newmains, Carluke, denny????? Stop making excuses and race your doos and you will do a lot better.
  10. 8.4 million
  11. I have spoke to my papa and a few others about this del. I also think that we don’t need to hammer down the road with obs either. What’s wrong with 2x60, 2x80, 1x100, 1x135 1x 175 then go over 200 miles. It gives the Birds confidence and also fitness. If the weathers bad you also aren’t forced to send your full whack. In the best of the weather when snfc/snrpc are racing Glasgow don’t have a race... I think we should have 2 races either from Berwick - Ripon area and let pigeons race. That’s what we keep them for. Look at Lanarkshire programme this year with obs... 6 races under 100 miles. They had 900+ at yrpes. There biggest entry in years and that was after terrible returns the year before with there fed. Food for thought?
  12. The desperados would end up with less YBS left as they would be at every race. More times in the basket, more chance of losing themðŸ‘

  16. He done nothing up here? 3rd open yrpes 2009. More than most people ever done in the west. Don’t slate people who have done what you haven’t.
