Last week a had my old birds out . 15 pairs all flying well and then they landed and took off again. I went into the house and came back out as I heard the crows squawking so I looked about and couldn't see anything and as I wento walk away I heard a wing flap. I looked about again and seen my 5th open reims pinned down by a hawk. I jumped the fence like Micheal Johnston and chased it then hen got up and tried to fly away and sparrahawk pinned it again eventually a got the hawk off it and then hen went and joined in the batch. After 90 mins 1 landed and after 3 seconds and to my amazement the sparrahawk came from no where and pinned a daughter of my good hen as she fled for safety under the loft the hawk chased her. I half dealt with the problem but eventually got them all back in. I kept them in for a few days and had them out the other day and seen another sparrahawk have a dive at them but missed. Some carry on but as I keep saying to my papa, deal with it, put up with it or chuck it. 🦅🦅🦅
