  5. When i had a really good year with the darkies they were all at diff stages flightwise ,on day of basketing for our national i handled them and noticed one cheq wf cock had thrown two flights on both wings with his hen about to lay ,which suggested to me super form ,result 2nd section ,not tried darkness much but personally would be more worried if they were not throwing ,jmo . ps they were darkened to suit my friend as i was of to work early so times were from 8pm to midday ---16hrs worked great .

  8. I would pick the on form darkness birds from our section A, My mate kenny thomson of wamphray who topped the fed last week ,kenny will be the furthest flyer in our section tomorrow ,also my other clubmate George Firth who moved from Leeds and is competing in his first ybn,From the Hoddam club Mr & Mrs jimmy graham ,and Springfield club Mr & Mrs gus Power & Allan ,Brydekirk club Scott Irving Jnr and Henry Dobie,If I had to pick one natural flyer it would have to be Jimmy Dalgliesh from Hoddam who is never far away,Never Easy for our small convoy breaking from the group especially in a sw wind ,however some will be up to the task ,Good Luck to all who have entered ,as for me will have to be next year
  9. VERY WET
  10. We had a major problem in our fed few years back ,but was quickly sorted by our management team was not the controller but the convoyer perhaps sometimes worth a closer look at the tree, not commenting on any particuler fed as i do not no any convoyers apart from our own ,which is a1
  11. Very good post Walter with a lot of common sense points ,sadly common sense is something that is sadly amiss in our Sport.

    Gaddaffi

Good one Walter On a Serious note he could appear in any Scottish court and be sent home ,after all we spent untold millions of taxpayers money to have someone convicted and then decided to free the same mass murderer of 280 innocents .

  23. Strong South Wind ,Heavy Rain Zero Visibility at present Dreadful Morning
  24. Think everyone like me must have them in cotton wool ,with 10,000 purchased that sure is crap for a fed open race ,have to say by last weeks fed result unless they are on the darkness only making up the numbers now as the darkies in our club and others in the fed were streets ahead
  25. Went down to Lockerbie one very wet morning to help erect a new loft which our clocksetter had bought himself ,he was quite adament that we only take the roof off his old loft as a fellow club member had purchased it from him and was fetching a tractor and trailer with his lads to lift it straight on ,(some one frae hearts of gold would nae have took it as it was f---) We stood in the pissin rain in fits of laughter as six of them carried the loft and got it stuck solid in the walkway between the houses ,they had to take a sledge hammer to it and smash it up as the neighbours could, nae get in with there shopping ,funny as f-- as the club member and his lads drove away in the tractor with a heap of fire wood Whilst standing in a fish bar in Blackpool at 3am ,our club mate was standing outside in the bitter cold with his arms inside these massive pockets on his jeans,as we waited to be served he leaned against a bill board which collapsed and he went with it as he could-nae get his arms out in time we had to go outside and pick him up as he cracked his skull of the pavement
