Agree 100% with a breaking point Derek,in our federation if say we used longtown as a breaking point it would not make any difference to me as i race north into moffat but it would make a hell of a difference to the dumfries and especially the dalbeattie and castle douglas fanciers who at present have no chance on saturdays unless it is very strong east suggested it once at committee meeting and if looks could kill as you say it wont happen but it should ,sure my friends in ireland have been doing this at club level for years .

Best i have heard of down here is my clubmate george firth at 3-46 flying approx 172 mls into boreland north of lockerbie returns very patchy from what i have heard ,not got my single entry yet .
