  8. To Be honest kev i aint paired early in years but the year i did they moulted body's twice and held there wing so i can only speak as i find, thats what so great about this sport we all have our own idea's Regards
  9. Out of interest why would you need to put birds on darkness if you pair boxing day because early bred y/birds left natral moult and hold there wings just like darkness youngbirds so don't see the point darking the loft if you pair then.

  15. I don't know if its true for every one but louella purchased my mates NFC winner and when it reached 10 years old he give it back to him and it still filled its eggs. Regards

  25. Many moons ago i work as a steward at the Great London Auctions with the late great Frank Hall i handled many a good distance bird they came in many shapes and sizes so i think its each to his/her own type, So at the end of the day its what you like. Regards
