Yes, dilute the Jeyes to the correct strength and apply it to floor, walls, ceiling & perches. I've found using a paintbrush you can cut through the build up of bloom much easier and you dont end up with half the solution soaking the floor.
5 years back had rats chew their way through inch thick ply flooring in my stock loft, laid wire mesh over the existing floor and a false floor put down over that. Had no trouble since.
W/hood loft 24x6 split into three sections, two 9x6 which house 12 boxes in each and a 6x6 that has slope back perches which I call my muck about section. Y/bird loft 16x6 which has two internal doors so I can split into three sections, two sections have nest boxes in and the other has slope back perches. Natural loft 8x6 with nine nest boxes. Stock loft 8x5 with aviary.

Different Steve Spinks Spin. The Steve Spinks that wrote this passed away a good few years back, think he raced in the Blackpool area. He was the creator of one of the first web sites dedicated to racing pigeons. Some may remember the website 'BoglinMarsh; think he also wrote articles in one of the pigeon weeklies again under BoglinMarsh.
