    Electric Fence

http://www.ehow.com/how_5008062_make-electric-fence-car-battery.html Country stores. I have mind 2 foot inside - one side of nieghbour and a foot other side and back of loft. Neighbour can't get at to pull it down, and they don't even know it there. likewise if I wished to put one up around the garden. Think the warning sign if only where neighbours or members of the public could walk past - legally. Must be perfectly legal as A. garden centres sell them, and B. only warning when it comes id the sign as above says. nary a mention any where. So I believe - personally - that the Transformer used in place of a car battery is the ideal and most effective as the ones I bought are in a loop. Ok only a second or so, whereas the transformer is constant. Never sen a cat near, and most nieghbours have them- my loft or garden since it has been put up.... and no one realises why really. Get on with it.... Some smear a sardine oil over the wires to attract the cats at night to put their noses on the wire... no need really. And every one says, once pinged they stay well away. Most say that Cat can smell electric, and don't like their first expierence of it... Like 'Pigs can see the wind' I never know or can get my head around it how people know that! Still get it up mucker.

  11. A very good and interesting read. Think it could well become a necessity eh!
  12. I have copied and pasted it in my word. As to just printing off a copy. Makes it easier as I type in the numbers etc. and print of to send from there.
  13. Well I don't think that they would be overly preturbed personally. Like when we hear this scenario - which is as good as here - of having a 'Life chip' etc. never understand why, or the logic. If it is to be put into a Normal metal ring, then fine, wouldn't be took off to be re - used of course. But that wouldn't couldn't stop this happening of course. and one would still have to be able to alter the owner. So obviously will have to have the capability of being changed ... otherwise one could never transfer and change it to race. A lighter ring possible etc.

  24. Fly caster don't be silly, there a good chappie! ... Mind I have sent training in torrential rain this afternoon. Obviously wasn't intential, but caught out bad. So the B.O.P. will be laying low. But then as soon as thare's a lull they will be out and hunting in earnest. Ditto, good post.
  25. If finished ranging same as any bred at any time. These birds are better as bred in the purple and have a better start in life. Further, why does one think, believe, that they are inferior to the inferior earlier bred birds Birds bred late June done the 469 miles race in 1988 / 89 for me. Birds bred in September have won the Scottish averages next OLD bird season though wasn't really intended that year. But they won the Scottish averages again and in two clubs (Not duplicated) Though if, and when, I breed late breds, there is 2 - 3 diffeent reasons.... A.Entering hens in old hens race. Be to supplement a depleted young birds losses - But mainly to have good birds 18 months down the line. I.e. Lightly tossed this year. Next season lightly tossed and 1 - 3 races of 100miles - 150 miles tops. Next seaon are ready for anything. The latter is the one where Patience is needed, and many don't have or try.
