dark chequer to a yellow grizzle hen = would get same colour with a red grizzle hen but also can breed darks or reds as well

that is a possibilty but i find if birds have knocked themself they huddle up and try to stay still till better , twitching would make it worse or feel pain , id still get checked , better to er on the side of caution peace of mind if nothing else

A good avian vet are worth there weight in gold , if most sought a vet out at the start there management would be better , i hope this does not deter you from keeping pigeons its just with any animal they need specific care and the best way to know your pigeons / pets are healthy is to test regulary but even the odd ailment can baffle from time to time , i hope you get your birds sorted all the best Regards Mark

racing pigeons have to be 100% fit if not fit they have more chance of not homing , a athelete wouldnt go to an event without no training nor would i send a bird thats not been trained if a bird cant be jumped 100 mile then no good to me a fit bird can be jumped an unfit bird wont do owner nor bird any favours its a long season to blow it early doors , this years yearlings are the back bone of the loft next year when two year olds

they aint been in a basket since last year , its up to him ill wait and get mine well trained then get them to 86 miles then jump them in

only yearlings long season to have birds knocked back there was zero visabilty supposed to clear by tomorrow we shall see in the morning
