  1. i have won from 86 miles to 512 miles wouldnt get a kirky to beat other strains i've had at sprint races
  2. best my yellow did was 1st Bourge 512 miles only bird on day , 2nd Bourge 512 mile , 2 x 6th Clermont 352 mile , 2 x 6ths 420 mile Jouey le chatel only once came 4th in a sprint race from wanstead flats :-/ forgot to add he was retired after he was a 2 year old
  3. kirkpatricks would be nigh on useless at a one loft race unless it was over 360 miles or a yearling 500 mile one loft race
  4. try oldguy or Tractorboy , i sometimes have whites from my kirkpatricks but cant guarentee them
  5. i wouldnt drink out of a mucky puddle or pond but birds do it all year round
  6. as these pigeons are going to a new home i can see no need for this thread to continue so i will now lock

    if dust falling to floors aka bloom ( deteriated oils ) the ventilation is wrong high walls and roof is where my bloom is

    my grits not dusty that just means its deteriorated and been crushed theres many forms of minerals and quite a few in powdered form which is good for drying dampened corn like pink minerals

    i put mine in a grit box they seem to eat it all they prefer the redstone pickstones but the kilpatricks seems to get scattered when i change it but soon settles down as mines in pots very little gets waisted

    mine seem to race better on the kilpatricks for some reason , i use the natural grit for all purpose all year round but always go back to the kilpatrick whilst racing
