another way of feeding is mix 10% barley to your ybs feed and stop feeding when they start leaving the barley

i would advise feeding ybs 1.2 ounces per bird per day weigh it out and feed them till they stop eating but not over the amount so for 20 birds no more than 12 ounce am and pm

depends on which system you intend i know the bamfords is ideal for the darkness young birds ( i've not seen the Gem Breed and wean ) , feed your young birds a heavy protien if wanting them on darkness to have a good moult but this keeps the birds grounded feed them lighter they'll fly sooner its all about prefrence

birds that are suffering respiratry problems are in a loft with poor ventalation that would need changing or any cure would only be a very short term fix to a problem that medicine wont cure , air flow is craeted by providing the correct enviroment for your birds
