i make mine full size of shed i use brackets so as soon as side brackets are on and slots cut out and brackets on uprights either end they just slot together real easy

your free to put pictures of birds up on site at your own risk , like i said putting birds up with ring numbers carrys a risk , i was trying to point out if someone fancied there chances at stealing then they would know what ring number the bird has got , i was showing the pitfalls of doing so , as to protect others from potential thieves , as there has been numerous of thefts over the last few years

Please pm me any avian vets you'd recommed by pm to add to the list , giving as much detail as possible

im not been funny ............. ( well you might think i am but assure you im not ) in the recent spate of bird thefts and loft break ins and stuff putting birds up along with there ring numbers is actualy helping would be theifs imo , cracking photo tho and nice back ground

well im sure I could start a thread and put it on sticky called recommeded avian vets and have a list of avian vets Then members could send me the vet they use and would recommend to others

quite agreed not every vet will know alot about pigeons , i think the R.P.R.A should do more on this front and seek good avian vets to add to a list so fanciers can better access them and know where to go in there area

another consideration is how hard your water is if living in a hard ward area then water should be distilled as well by boiling and cooling

i only buy straights never used mixes from swainsons

spot on you only need to remove minerals and grit with some medication , and if are treating under the instruction of a vet they will advise you properly

i believe its true if you notice whites on a nice clear sunny day they glow like a beacon , in nature white mice , rabbits , and squirrels are quite common place but dont survive very long in the wild because they lack the proper colour to hide / blend them in to there surroundings however a meal is a meal where bops are concerned and will eat any colour

i have to say i think this lad is nothing more than a chancer , trying to obtain birds for nothing or very little to make profit by selling them back on , if he was genuine i would of helped him out , as most know the facts by reading his posts im bring this old thread to a close and will be refering this to the attension of admin
